• The municiple bus system is much better than I thought it would be. Compliments.

• Surprisingly mild winters.

• Gondola and views of the western Rockies.

• Two mountains to ski, Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb.

Be careful of:

• Accommodations can be expensive.

• Be mindful of the international atmosphere.

• More rain than expected throughout the winter.
